Last updated: February 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Attendee") and Chapter & Chapel ("Organizer," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your participation in the Brides in Bloom event (the "Event"). By purchasing a ticket, registering for, attending, or participating in the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Event Overview
Brides in Bloom is a curated, in-person bridal experience that includes a guided floral workshop, light refreshments, networking opportunities, photo moments, and related activities. All materials required for participation will be provided, and no prior experience is required.
Event details, including date, time, and location, will be communicated on the event website and confirmed on your ticket upon purchase.
2. Eligibility and Participation
This Event is strictly 21 years of age or older. By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old at the time of the Event.
Valid government-issued photo identification may be required for entry. Any ticket holder under the age of 21 will be denied entry at the door, and no refund or credit will be issued under any circumstances.
Attendance is limited to ticket holders only. Each ticket admits one person unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the purpose or values of the Event, without refund.
Attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward other participants, vendors, staff, and the venue.
3. Ticket Purchase, Pricing, and Taxes
All ticket prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and fees may be included at checkout. You are responsible for any applicable local, state, or federal taxes related to your ticket purchase.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.
4. Refund, Transfer, and Cancellation Policy
-
All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable.
-
Tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another individual by notifying us in writing prior to the Event.
-
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the Event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to venue issues, weather, safety concerns, or insufficient attendance.
-
In the event of cancellation by the Organizer, ticket holders will be notified and provided with information regarding next steps. Refunds, credits, or transfers may be offered at the Organizer’s discretion.
5. Event Changes
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the Event program, schedule, speakers, vendors, or activities as necessary. Such changes do not entitle attendees to a refund.
6. Photography, Video, and Media Release
By attending the Event, you grant the Organizer and its partners the irrevocable right to photograph, record, and film you during the Event. You consent to the use of your image, likeness, voice, and appearance in any media, including marketing, promotional, social media, and website content, without compensation.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, it is your responsibility to notify the Organizer in writing prior to the Event.
7. Intellectual Property
All Event content, including but not limited to branding, signage, materials, designs, and workshop formats, is the intellectual property of Chapter & Chapel and its collaborators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use Event materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
8. Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability
Participation in the Event is voluntary. You acknowledge and assume all risks associated with attending the Event, including but not limited to minor injuries, allergic reactions, illness, property loss, or damage.
You further acknowledge that third-party vendors, collaborators, and service providers ("Third-Party Vendors") may be present on-site during the Event. Chapter & Chapel and Alisha Gurman do not control, operate, or assume responsibility for the actions, services, products, or representations of any Third-Party Vendors.
In the event that you choose to purchase from, contract with, or otherwise engage any Third-Party Vendor during or after the Event for services or events not directly associated with Brides in Bloom, you do so at your own risk. Chapter & Chapel and Alisha Gurman shall not be liable for any claims, disputes, damages, losses, incidents, or legal actions arising out of or related to any such independent relationship or transaction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Chapter & Chapel, Alisha Gurman, the Event venue, and all Event partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your participation in the Event or your interactions with Third-Party Vendors.
9. Accessibility
Please note that the Event venue is not wheelchair accessible. If you have questions about accessibility or accommodations, please contact us prior to purchasing a ticket.
10. Force Majeure
The Organizer shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, public health emergencies, pandemics, government orders, labor disputes, power outages, venue closures, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or other circumstances that make it illegal, impractical, or unsafe to hold the Event (a "Force Majeure Event").
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or modify the Event. If the Event is canceled due to a Force Majeure Event, ticket holders will be notified and may be offered a credit, transfer, or other remedy at the Organizer’s discretion. No additional liability shall be incurred.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Severability
